How Vey's Project Turned Crochet Fun into a Thriving Pattern Business Since 2021

The Story Behind Vey’s Project

So, Vey’s Project started back in 2016, when I picked up a crochet hook for the first time to try something new.
What I didn’t expect was how quickly I’d fall in love with it.
At first, it was just a fun way to relax, but before I knew it, crochet became my favorite thing to do.

In 2018, I came across amigurumi—crocheting little stuffed creatures—and that’s when everything changed.
I couldn’t stop making them!
Friends and family noticed too soon enough, I was getting requests for custom dolls.
That’s when I realized how much I wanted to share my creations with others.

Fast forward to 2021, I decided to take a leap and start my own business. I began designing crochet patterns that anyone could follow, whether they were new to crochet or already experienced.

Then, I launched my website, www.veysproject.com, where people could find my patterns, see my latest creations, and hopefully get inspired to create something of their own.

Honestly, Vey’s Project is more than just a business to me.
It’s a part of who I am, and I love that I get to share this journey with other crocheters around the world.
It’s been an incredible ride, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here.
